Hi Room 115 families!
I hope you had a wonderful week, we certainly did! This week we learned all about Braeside and our schools expectations. We created our own classroom rules and how to be a bucketfiller. A bucketfiller is someone who is kind, thoughtful and a good friend. They help make other people and themselves feel good instead of being a bucket dipper. A bucket dipper is someone who takes away those positive feelings and does not use kind words. This was our focus this week as we build our classroom community. We also have been sharing our family pictures and talking about the people who support us and help to build the community we are apart of. In our classroom community we explored what we have in it and became familiar with our of our classroom tools. We played with play doh, built with legos and mat man. We also had our first P.E class, music and art class. Mrs. Pressman, the art teacher, would like to share that if you want to send your student with an art smock to keep at school to protect their clothes from getting messy to please send one in! Some reminders: 1. The Braeside Bash is this Sunday from 2-4pm. It is on the blacktop near the playground! 2. Open House is also this Wednesday beginning at 6 pm I had a wonderful week getting to know your students and I am so excited to spend the year with them! If you have any questions please feel free to email me! Have a great weekend and looking forward to seeing you all this week!
