Good Morning Room 115!
I hope that you had a wonderful weekend! I cannot believe it is already time for conferences! If you have not filled out the gold sheet, please do so and make sure it is in tomorrow. I want to make sure that I maximize our time together as much as possible. I will be sending home timesheet reminders today, so please look for that in your students folder. As this week winds down, in class, we are working to finish our wonders project. We have been learning how to ask and answer questions through research. We have been continuing our work in adding and subtracting within 20. We have also been working on greater than and less than and how to compare different numbers. In literacy we have been working in reading groups and having practice with our sight words and different word patterns. In writing, we have been practicing writing now with a capital letter to start a sentence and using our lowercase letters as best as we can to complete a sentence. We have also learned about different types of punctuation such as when to use a question mark or exclamation mark. Again, I am very much looking forward to seeing all of you this week for conferences! Please remember, your students have early release on Thursday at 1pm, and no school on Friday. I am excited to share your students work and touch base with you on how the year has progressed! Otherwise, I hope that you all have a wonderful spring break and safe travels if you are taking a trip! If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask!
