Below are some student friendly math games that students can play on electronically. Some other non electronic options are:
1. Nim: You need 7 objects (marbles, crayons, etc.) you can only take one or two of the objects per turn. The winner is the one to take the last object. This is a game about strategy and logic.
2. Build a number line and play number line games (your students know plenty and can teach you! Ask them about snake pit!)
3. Have them organizing and categorizing objects or toys and explaining their reasoning!
4. Count everything and anything! Create ten frames!
5. Play board games

Problem Solving Mobiles
Students have experience and practice with these in class. This is a great way to think about numbers and different ways to add! |
On Math Playground, please have your students play Thinking Blocks. This is a great game and way for students to learn the different parts of addition and subtraction. Feel free to explore the other games with your student on this website. |
Students have done a tower challenge before. This is a fun lesson and activity to explore with students. They can use the resources and draw but also provide them legos so they can build with it as well!
